What can I expect on a guided walk?
A guided walk typically lasts between two and three hours. It is a gentle and physically undemanding practice that takes place in a natural setting. Unlike a hike, there is no destination or length to be measured. Your guide leads participants in a series of carefully crafted sensory invitations. These invitations offer simple, natural pathways to presence and partnership with the land. They provide opportunity to connect, play and contemplate.
We may walk a short trail or gather in a shared space and flow in and out of the surroundings. Most of the time spent on a guided walk is a solo experience. There are opportunities to gather, share and listen between invitations. We conclude each walk with a shared tea and snacks.
There are no expectations of participants. Your guide holds a safe and open space for all to be exactly where they are.
